Cyber Diplomacy: Challenges and Prospects in the Modern Digital World

On March 20, a guest lecture on the topic “Cyber Diplomacy – Prospects and Current Realities” was held at the Faculty of Information Technology of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.
Our friends and colleagues from the Department of Computer Systems, Networks and Cybersecurity of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine invited teachers and students from the Department of Finance, Accounting and Banking and the Department of Economics and Marketing of our university to join the guest lecture.
In a world where cyberattacks have become an integral part of modern conflicts, Ukraine is not only resisting digital threats, but also becoming a leader in shaping new rules of cybersecurity in the international arena. That is why the discussion of cyber diplomacy has become not just relevant, but vital for everyone who seeks to understand the challenges of the digital age!
During the lecture, the attendees learned:
- How Ukraine is countering the unprecedented number of cyberattacks that accompany traditional war.
- Why our country has become a source of new approaches to protecting government systems.
- What are the prospects for cyber diplomacy and how Ukraine affects global digital security.
- How each of the students can become a cyber diplomat in the future! The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine invites young people who are fluent in foreign languages and knowledgeable in cybersecurity to the diplomatic service.
We are proud that Ukrainian specialists today not only defend the cyber front, but also shape the future of digital security for the whole world!
