Guest Lecture on Access to Education for Youth from Temporarily Occupied Territories

On March 12, the university hosted a guest lecture on the topic: “The State of Access to Education for Children and Youth from Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.”
The speaker of the event was D.O. Mykhaliov, representative of the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
The lecture was organized online (via Zoom) and brought together students of all specialties of the university. The moderator of the event was the director of the ER ISHS, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Anton Bader.
During the meeting, the speaker spoke in detail about the current problems of access to education for children and youth from the temporarily occupied territories, outlined the main challenges faced by students, and also discussed possible ways to solve these issues.
The event aroused keen interest among the participants, who actively joined the discussion and asked questions. Such lectures are important for raising awareness of the rights of young people and contribute to expanding opportunities for their education.
