March Career Guidance Meetings with Pupils from Boryslav

During March, career guidance meetings with pupils from Boryslav general education institutions are continuing.

On March 5, the director of the Secondary School of I-III degrees No. 1, Maria Yosypivna Popivniak, gladly opened the door for career guidance work to our representative from the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism of LTSNU.

Today’s pupils, and tomorrow’s potential applicants, heard a lot of interesting and useful information about the university, its 10 educational and research institutes and other separate structural units.

On March 12, a career orientation meeting was held with 10th and 11th grade pupils of Boryslav Secondary Vocational School of I-III levels No. 8. The meeting was opened with a greeting by the deputy director of the school, Vira Liubomyrivna Tupychak, and the psychologist of the institution, Ms. Maria, who spoke about the importance of choosing a future profession and gave the floor to the representative of our university, an associate professor of the Department of Ukrainian Language. She spoke about the eastern outpost of education and science of our country, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, its 104-year history of life: creation, prosperity – about the figures of famous Ukrainians who are graduates of our university, of whom we are proud. Today is a story of victorious labor, an example of indomitability, inner stability and faith in a better peaceful tomorrow of the entire teaching staff of the university and students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

Pupils had the opportunity to learn about the advantages and conditions of study at our university, and the attention of potential applicants was focused on the uniqueness of the higher education institution, which proudly bears the name of our national genius Taras Shevchenko, who is our symbol of freedom, indomitability and national dignity. The university trains highly qualified specialists for various fields. Potential applicants were consulted on admission issues.

We express our sincere gratitude to the administration of Boryslav Secondary Educational Institutions for their hospitality, cooperation and assistance in conducting career guidance work among students. Let us study Shevchenko’s legacy and always remember his spiritual testament – to love Ukraine, know our history and protect our native language! We invite potential applicants to join our university falimy.
