Meeting at the Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies

This week, a meeting was held at the ER IMIT dedicated to organizing project and team work for third-year IT students.

Due to the studying the ASP.NET course, in addition to professional knowledge, especially important are the skills of teamwork, effective time planning, communication and the ability to solve real tasks set by the modern IT industry.

In order to develop these competencies, a leading specialist in the field of IT, an expert in technologies. NET Serhii Olegovych Parshin, who has many years of practical experience, visited the meeting with students. The organizer of the event was Mykola Anatoliiovych SEMENOV, associate professor of the Department of Information Technologies.

During the meeting, topical issues of applying .NET technologies in real projects, the features of their study and practical use, as well as the engineering approach to developing software products were discussed. Serhii Olegovych actively communicated with the students, answering all their questions, and acted as a mentor who will continue to support the teams during the implementation of projects.

As a result of the meeting, the students, together with the mentor, agreed to start a joint IT project. A pitching event is planned for a month, where teams will present their own developments and prove their business appeal. The best projects will be selected during the defense, and the winners will receive further support and consultations from Serhii Olegovych.

Such events allow students to gain not only theoretical knowledge, but also real practical experience, which is a key factor in the formation of professional competencies of modern IT specialists.
