The Ukrainian language is not just a means of communication, but it is the soul of the people, a symbol of our identity and struggle for independence.

It has gone through centuries of oppression, but has endured, hardened and become a powerful weapon in the hands of every Ukrainian.

The staff and students of our university proudly profess this truth, because here the word of the Great Kobzar sounds especially powerful. We honor, protect and develop our native language, because it is our strength, our history and our future.

Special thanks to the highly qualified teachers of the Ukrainian language of LTSNU, who daily shape the language culture of students, passing on to them a love for their native language and working tirelessly to preserve and develop the Ukrainian language.
