Career Guidance Meetings

Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Language Oksana Kleshchova held career guidance meetings with the 10-11th grade pupils in the city of Boryslav, Lviv region.

On February 26, 2025, the representative of the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism of LTSNU, Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Language Oksana Kleshchova, held a career guidance meeting with the 10-11th grade pupils of the Boryslav General Secondary Education Institution of I-III Degrees No. 7 of the Boryslav City Council, Drohobych District, Lviv Region.

The school principal, who gladly opened the doors of the institution for career guidance work to us, Mykola Liubomyrovych Kohut, who is a history teacher, was presented with a collective monograph of teachers edited by Dr. Pedagogical Sciences, Prof. V. S. Kurylo, “Armed Violence, National Security and Critical Thinking: Theoretical and Methodological Dimension.”

During the career orientation meeting, the students watched 2 promotional presentations: a video about the university and a multimedia presentation about the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism of LTSNU, learned about the famous graduates of the institute, got acquainted with the university and the history of its creation.

Also, on the occasion of the Mother Tongue Day in Boryslav, as part of preparations for the Lullaby Festival, our representative had the honor of being an invited ally – the head of the festival, which is being held for the third year in a row in the city. Boryslav, – Ms. Lyudmila Bulyk to the “Svitlytsia” of the NGO “Union of Ukrainian Women” of the Boryslav urban territorial community, where a meeting of lullaby authors from the cities of the region (Truskavets, Drohobych, Skhidnytsia, Stebnyk, etc.) – famous poets and beginning schoolchildren – authors of song poetry, which inspires in these difficult times. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Oksana Kleshchova conducted advertising and career guidance work among connoisseurs of the Ukrainian word: she showed a multimedia presentation and told about Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the educational services provided by the university and the National Institute of Philology and Journalism.

All meetings were productive in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
