Discussion of Educational and Professional Programs

From February 19 to 21, meetings were held at the Starobilsk Professional College to discuss the projects of the EPP for specialties B13 “Library, Information and Archival Affairs”, A2 “Preschool Education” and A3 “Primary Education”.

The meetings were attended by the college director, deputy director for academic work, heads of cycle commissions and members of the working groups of educational and professional programs.

The heads of cycle commissions introduced the attendees to the structure of the programs, educational components and learning outcomes. All members of the working groups joined the active discussion, paying primary attention to the quality of training of applicants for professional pre-higher education and their mastery of general and special competencies in terms of program learning outcomes. When developing the college’s EPP projects, the requirements of the educational standards of professional pre-higher education, approved by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, were taken into account.

Based on the results of the meetings, the working groups of educational and professional programs identified the main areas of further improvement of the programs and agreed on further steps for their refinement.
