Valentine’s Day at the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism
14.2.2025
On 14 February, students and teachers of the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism joined a festive event dedicated to Valentine’s Day. The atmosphere of the event was filled with romance, creativity and good mood.
The celebration began with the announcement of ‘Love Notes’ – anonymous compliments that students could send via a Google form. Participants also had the opportunity to create their own valentines in Canva.
The event told about the origin of the holiday and the traditions of its celebration in different countries. The students watched a themed video, which further immersed them in the romantic atmosphere.
The event was not without interactivity – the launch of a quiz added excitement and aroused keen interest among the participants. After that, the compliments sent by the participants were read out and the created valentines were demonstrated.
The event ended with a discussion of stories about celebrating Valentine’s Day at school and a discussion about love in the works of famous writers.
We sincerely thank the students and teachers for their active participation in the holiday! We wish you all love, warmth and inspiration to always accompany you in life!
