Career Orientation Meeting with Educational Institutions of Luhansk Region

A career orientation meeting was held with educational institutions of the Luhansk region.

On February 11, the director of the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports, Oleksandr DUBOVOI, and the lecturer of the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports, Iryna YANOVYCH, at the invitation of the director of the school of Olympic education, Popasnyansky Lyceum No. 21 and the Head of the Luhansk Regional Branch of the Olympic Academy of Ukraine, Maryna USTENKO, took part in the regional solemn event “Sports Youth – Indestructible Nation”, dedicated to the opening of the XVII Winter European Youth Olympic Festival in Bakuriani-2025 (Georgia).

Educational institutions from different communities of the Luhansk region were invited to the meeting: School of Olympic Education, Popasnyansky Lyceum No. 21, Myrnodolyn Lyceum of the Lysychansk community, and Lyceum-Collegium of the city of Severodonetsk.

At the beginning of the event, they talked about the patriotism and indomitability of the Ukrainian nation, about our talented youth, who represent the country at sports competitions in Bakuriani, and about the sporting achievements of Luhansk residents who are graduates of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

In the second part of the meeting, Oleksandr Dubovoi told the children about the advantages of studying at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. About the fact that our higher educational institution has been a benchmark for the quality of Ukrainian education for almost 104 years and carries out research and educational activities, guided by the best world and domestic traditions, modern principles and the latest trends in the development of the educational services sector. The educational offer of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University covers about 300 specialties, educational programs and professions.

The history of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is a vivid example of devotion to one’s native cause and country. The courageous team of the university has always won, recovered and become a leader, initiator, center for creating new educational ideas that made learning interesting and effective.
