Meeting of the Working Group on the Development of the EPP

A scheduled meeting of the working group on the development of projects for educational and professional programs for the specialty A2 “Preschool Education” was held at the Department of Early Childhood and Preschool Development.

The guarantors of educational and professional programs (Iryna Grechyshkina, Hanna Zazharska) told the working group about the specifics of the process of changing specialty codes in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 1021 “On Amendments to the List of Fields of Knowledge and Specialties for the Training of Applicants for Higher and Professional Pre-Higher Education”, updated the requirements of state standards for higher education and the professional standard “Preschool Education Teacher”, outlined the leading vectors of changes in the programs.

The director of the ER IPP, Marina Yepikhina, joined the discussion, noting that currently educational programs are successfully functioning at two educational levels and meet all regulatory requirements, however, certain names of educational components require correction and clarification.

The head of the Department of Early and Preschool Child Development, Svitlana Bader, joined the discussion, reminding us of the need to take into account the requirements of the updated Law of Ukraine “On Preschool Education” dated 06.06.2024 № 3788-IX.

Traditionally, the bachelor’s and master’s students majoring in “Preschool Education” joined the discussion. They expressed sincere words of gratitude for the high-quality professional training and suggested expanding the list of elective disciplines in the next academic year.
