Final Certification of Ukrainian Linguists

The final certification of Ukrainian linguists – master’s students majoring in 014.01 “Secondary education (Ukrainian Language and literature)” was held.

From January 14 to 18, 2025, the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism hosted a comprehensive exam in professional disciplines and defense of qualification papers for the master’s students majoring in “Ukrainian Language and Literature”, “Ukrainian Language and Literature. Language and Literature (English)” of full-time and part-time forms of study. 

Stakeholders were invited to the final certification, who noted the high level of acquisition by students of professional competencies specified by educational programs.

During the comprehensive exam in professional disciplines, master’s students demonstrated awareness of the theoretical and practical principles of language and literature education. Master’s students have proven that they are skillfully oriented in traditional and modern scientific and educational paradigms, use methods of planning and organizing the language and literary educational process in secondary education institutions, and possess the methodology of preparing and using modern educational and methodological support.

By the decision of the examination committee, master’s students were awarded the educational qualification of a master of secondary education and the professional qualifications of a teacher of Ukrainian language and literature, a teacher of higher education institutions.
