Regulations on the Marketing Department

The Marketing Department is a structural division of the state institution “Luhansk National University named after Taras Shevchenko”.

Modern education requires creative, imaginative, determined, persistent, self-organized, talented professionals who perceive problems and tasks as new opportunities, are able to notice and understand new trends, and also implement them in their work.

Changes in the world are happening very quickly and new generations are using completely different technological approaches, which need to be adapted to and used as effectively as possible.

Our team strives to enrich the University with fresh approaches and views on traditional things.

 

The tasks of the marketing department:

  • Organization of a comprehensive study and analysis of the domestic and foreign markets of educational services, the prospects for its development in order to obtain information on the ratio of supply and demand, the level of prices for educational services.
  • Conducting marketing research both by the employees of the department and with the involvement of internal structural units of the University.
  • Studying and systematizing data on competitors: assortment, pricing policy, advertising, etc.
  • Formation of a marketing plan for a certain period.
  • Collection, analysis, processing and prompt provision of information to the media about the activities of the university, except for cases provided for by the Law of Ukraine “On State Secrets”.
  • Creation, storage of a brand-book standard and monitoring its compliance.
  • Establishing contacts and concluding cooperation agreements with education departments and educational institutions of the region regarding career guidance work.
  • Organization and conducting exhibition activities, forums, workshops, and other projects planned by the marketing department.
  • Creating conditions for improving the qualifications of department employees in the field of marketing, advertising, etc.
  • Organizing and holding press conferences, briefings; preparing interviews, speeches, publications in the media, television and radio broadcasts of the university rector, as well as members of the teaching staff and students, university employees.
  • Reflecting in the Ukrainian mass media the role of the university in the scientific, educational, social, cultural, sports and other spheres of life.
  • Preparing reviews for regional, city and district media in order to promptly respond to critical remarks, constructive suggestions and information about the university that does not correspond to reality.
  • Maintaining a high image of the University among partners, clients and the population in Ukraine and abroad.
