Olena Leonidivna Karaman

Biography:

• In 1987-1991, she studied at the Voroshilovgrad Taras Shevchenko State Pedagogical Institute, specialty “Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education.”
• In 1991-1995, she worked as a primary school teacher at the Lutuhyne Secondary School No.1, Luhansk region.
• In 1993-1995, she studied at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko State Pedagogical Institute, specialty “Ukrainian Language and Literature”.
• In 1995-1999, she worked as a Senior Laboratory Assistant, Assistant at the Department of Pedagogy and Primary Education Methods, Assistant at the Department of Philological Disciplines of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko State Pedagogical Institute. 
• In 1996-1997, she studied in the magistracy, specialty “Primary Education” and worked at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko State Pedagogical Institute. 
• In 1999-2002, she was a Ph.D. student in Social Pedagogy (specialty 13.00.05) at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko State Pedagogical Institute. 
• In 2002, she defended her thesis on the topic: “Social and Pedagogical Protection of Childhood in the Activities of a General Education School.”
• In 2002-2003, she worked as an assistant at the Department of Social Pedagogy and Social Work, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko State Pedagogical University. 
• In 2003, she was awarded the scientific degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences in the specialty 13.00.05 – social pedagogy.
• In 2003-2009, she became an Associate Professor of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Social Work, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the executive secretary of the university’s admissions committee.
• In 2006, she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Social Work and was elected a corresponding member of the International Academy of Sciences of Pedagogical Education.
• In 2009-2013, she studied in the Doctoral Studies in the specialty 13.00.05 – social pedagogy at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
• In 2013, she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic: “Theory and Methodology of Social and Pedagogical Work with Convicted Minors in Penitentiary Institutions of Ukraine.”
• In 2013, she was awarded the scientific degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences in the specialty 13.00.05 – social pedagogy.
• In 2013, she was awarded the title of Professor of the Department of Social Pedagogy, the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”.
• In 2013-2014, she became the director of the Separate Subdivision “College of Technology and Design of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”; Professor of the Department of Social Pedagogy.
• In 2014-2015, she was as a Head of the Department of Social Work, Scientific Secretary of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”.
• In 2015, she was awarded the academic title of Professor of the Social Pedagogy Department.
• In 2015-2021, she worked as the director of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, Professor of the Social Pedagogy Department of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”.
• In November 2021, she was elected Rector of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”.

Vitalii Semenovych Kurylo

Biography:

• In 1974, Vitalii Kurylo began his career as a teacher in secondary schools in Bilokurakyne and Starobilsk, Luhansk region.
• In 1982, he graduated from the History Faculty of Voroshilovgrad Taras Shevchenko State Pedagogical Institute.
• In 1983-1986, he studied at the postgraduate school.
• From 1986 to 1992, he worked as an Assistant, Senior Teacher, Associate Professor at the History Department.
• In 1987, he defended his Ph. D. thesis in history.
• In 1992-1993, he took the position of the Deputy Dean at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko State Pedagogical University.
• In 1993-1995, he was the Vice-Rector for Education Affairs.
• Since 1996 – he was the Chairman of the Luhansk regional organization of the National Union of Local Historians of Ukraine, a member of the board of the NSU.
• Since 1997 – he was the Chairman of the Luhansk Regional Handball Federation as well as the Chairman of the Luhansk Regional Society “Znannia”.
• In 1996-1997, he took the position of Head of the Main Department of Education and Science of the Luhansk Regional State Administration.
• Since July 1998, he was the Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko State Pedagogical University.
• In 2000, he defended his doctoral dissertation on the history of pedagogy. Research topic “Formation and Development of Education and Pedagogical Thought of the Eastern Ukrainian Region in the Twentieth Century.” He became the Professor of Pedagogy Department.
• In 2006-2007, he was elected People’s Deputy of Ukraine of the V convocation.
• In 2007-2012, he was People’s Deputy of the VI convocation. He was Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Science and Education. He is the author of more than 20 bills.
• In 2007, he was the President of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
• In 2010, he was awarded the high scientific title – Academician of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine.
• In November 2012, he was re-elected Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
• From 2014 to 2019, he was People’s Deputy of the VIII convocation and Chairman of the Supervisory Council of LTSNU.
• In November 2019, he was elected chairman of the Academic Council of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
• In April 2021, he became the Acting Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

June to August 2003, she worked as an instructor in the organizational department of the Directorate of the Luhansk Regional Organization “Association of Labor Associations of Youth of Ukraine”.

August 2003 to August 2005, she worked as a laboratory assistant at the Department of Social Pedagogy and Social Work, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National Pedagogical University.
September 2000 to June 2005, she studied at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko State Pedagogical University.

August 2005 to June 2006, she worked as a laboratory assistant at the Department of Social Pedagogy and Social Work, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National Pedagogical University.

July to August 2006, she worked as a specialist in the organization of secondary employment of the Specialized State Institution “Luhansk Regional Youth Labor Center”.

September 2006 to August 2009, she studied at the Postgraduate Course, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National Pedagogical University.

September 2009 to August 2010, she worked as an assistant at the Department of Social Work and Social Pedagogy, the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”.

Anatolii Volodymyrovych Zhuchok

Biography:

In 1996, he graduated with honors from the Physics and Mathematics Faculty of the Sloviansk State Pedagogical Institute and the special faculty “Education Management”, received qualifications: teacher of mathematics and physics, education manager.
From 1996 to 2000, he worked as a teacher of mathematics and physics in a rural school in Donetsk region.
From 2000 to 2003, he studied at the Postgraduate Studies of the Sloviansk State Pedagogical University.
From 2000 to 2006, he worked at the Sloviansk State Pedagogical University as an assistant at the Department of Algebra.
In 2006, he defended his Ph.D. thesis at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, specialty 01.01.06 – Algebra and Number Theory.
From 2006 to 2009, he was the Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Algebra, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Senior Researcher of the Luhansk Branch of the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
In 2008, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Algebra.
From 2009 to 2012, he studied at the Doctoral Studies, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
In 2012, he defended his doctoral thesis at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, specialty 01.01.06 – Algebra and Number Theory.
In 2012-2013, he was the Professor of the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Algebra, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Leading Researcher of the Luhansk Branch of the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
In 2013–2014, he was the Head of the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Algebra.
In 2014, he was awarded the academic title of Professor of the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Algebra.
From 2014 to November 30, 2021, he was the Professor, Head of the Department of Algebra and Systems Analysis, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
Since 2014 – the Director of the Luhansk branch of the IAMM of the NAS of Ukraine (on a voluntary basis).
Since 2015 – the expert of the section “Mathematics” of the Scientific Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Since 2017- the editor-in-chief of the International Mathematical Journal, Algebra and Discrete Mathematics, which is indexed in Scopus and Web of Science.
Since 2020 – the member of the expert group for assessing the effectiveness of higher education institutions in terms of their scientific (scientific and technical) activities in the scientific direction “Mathematical Sciences and Natural Sciences” at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
In 2021 he graduated with honors from Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University (master’s degree) and received the professional qualification: philologist, teacher, translator (English).
On August 4, 2021, he was approved as a member of the Scientific Committee of the National Council of Ukraine for the Development of Science and Technology under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Since December 01, 2021 – the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

In 2009, he graduated from the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko  National University, qualified as: teacher of Ukrainian language and literature, foreign literature, editor of educational publications;

In 2009, he worked as a specialist of the 1st category of the Capital Construction Department of LTSNU;

In 2010, he  graduated from the Institute of Postgraduate Education of the  SI “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”, received the qualification: finance specialist;

In 2011, he worked as a public procurement specialist in the Capital Construction Department of LTSNU;

In 2015, he worked as the Head of the Public Procurement Department of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University;

In 2018, he graduated from the Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Business of LTSNU, received the qualification: manager (supervisor) of enterprises, institutions, organizations and their subdivisions, teacher of higher education institutions;

Since 2022, he worked as the Acting Vice-Rector for Administrative and Economic Work of the SI “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”.
