Bronze medalist of the Ukrainian Championship

The 4th year student of the ER IPES is a bronze medalist of the Ukrainian Weightlifting Championship. 

On May 23, the Ukrainian Weightlifting Championship among men and women, dedicated to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was held in the city of Lutsk.

The 4th year bachelor’s student majoring in 014.11 Secondary Education (Physical Culture) of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports, Tetiana Budnikova became the bronze medalist of the competition. In the category of 49 kilograms with the result: jerk 60 kg, thrust 83 kg, the amount of dueling 143 kg Tetiana took the 3rd place.

Tetiana studied at the Regional School of Higher Sports Mastery, the coach is Kostiantyn Selivanov.

On May 24, Tetiana successfully passed the state exam and received an excellent grade. Tetiana said about her success: “I was more worried about the state exam than the competition! I am very grateful to my teachers and coach, to everyone who helped me and was by my side. I am proud to be a graduate of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” and I want to continue further studies in the master’s degree of this educational institution.
