A scientific and methodological seminar was held at the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

In order to improve the level of scientific and methodical training and pedagogical skills of teachers, the Faculty of Foreign Languages held a scientific and methodical seminar “Formation of SOFT SKILLS for students”.

The speaker of the event was associate professor of the Department of Pedagogy Viktoriya Shvyrka. The meeting of scientists took place in a remote format, uniting the faculty’s interdepartmental community. According to the program of the seminar, the trainees had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the process of forming soft skills, which is an important component for the competitiveness of future specialists, improving their professional competences.

The speaker’s practical advice made it possible to understand in detail the methods of developing soft skills that will help students to communicate effectively, manage time, think critically, cooperate in a team, build a personal development strategy, etc. Therefore, the policy of acquisition of soft skills by students during the period of study is relevant and should correspond to the goals and results of study under educational programs.
