All-Ukrainian Student Scientific and Practical Conference

The Department of Philological Disciplines took part in the All-Ukrainian Student Scientific and Practical Conference “Actual Problems of Modern Philology and Linguistic Didactics”.

On May 18, 2023, the Student Scientific and Practical Conference “Actual Problems of Modern Philology and Linguistic Didactics” was held. Its purpose was to discuss scientific, debatable issues of modern philology and linguistic didactics, to involve students in scientific and practical activities, to encourage all representatives of the academic community to carry out scientific research on the basis of academic integrity.

The Department of Philological Disciplines of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” became a co-organizer of the event. For her participation, the teachers prepared 14 reports by bachelor’s and master’s students majoring in “Primary Education”. Ukrainian language and literature”, “Primary Education”, “Preschool education”.

The Deputy Director for Scientific Work of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University addressed the participants of the conference with a welcoming speech, wishing them productive work, interesting discussions, and enrichment with new ideas.

During the conference, topical problems were discussed: language as a factor of national identification; problems and prospects of modern linguistics; fiction: text, context, intertext; literature for children: problem-thematic and genre-style aspects; current trends in language didactics; modern problems of teaching methods of Ukrainian and foreign literature in secondary education institutions.

We are proud of the cooperation of our teams, joint scientific and creative projects, exchange of work experience, close contacts of our students and teachers. We express our hope that our cooperation will continue to be more productive, and our teams will be reliable partners in such an important scientific and creative field today!
