Vyshyvanka Day at the FFL

Vyshyvanka Day was celebrated at the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

This holiday is celebrated every year in our country on the third Thursday of May. It was launched in 2006 to support traditional Ukrainian clothing and honor our culture.

Vyshyvanka is not only a special element of festive national clothing, but also an important part of the culture of the Ukrainian people. That is why every Ukrainian should know about the existence of such an event as Vyshyvanka Day.

Thus, representatives of the dean’s office of the faculty, scientific and pedagogical workers and students put on national clothes and joined the all-Ukrainian flash mob, the idea of which is to take pictures in embroidered clothes and upload these photos to social networks. Moreover, in Poltava this year special photo zones were set up in the color of Ukrainian folk traditions.

Despite the situation in the country, we support each other, and in this way, wearing an embroidered shirt, we raise the spirit of Ukrainians and Ukrainian soldiers.
