Choreographic competition “Mosaic”

The traditional choreographic competition of student works “Mosaic” was held at the Institute of Culture and Arts.

On May 12, the traditional annual choreographic competition of student works “Mosaic” was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts. This competition gives students an opportunity to prove themselves as directors of choreographic compositions.

The jury of the competition was represented by the Deputy Director for Social and Humanitarian Work – Alona Tereshchenko, the Head of the Department of Musical Art and Choreography – Iryna Tsebrii, teachers of the Department of Musical Art and Choreography – Liudmyla Sokil, Tetiana Vilkhovchenko, Olga Bilokon and Bohdan Korovainyi.

In addition to choreographic performances, 2nd-year students majoring in Musical Art  Georgii Gusev and Vira Olefir as well as the invited guest – the Exemplary Dance Ensemble “Falcons” of the Sofia Rusova Regional Art Lyceum performed on stage.

The first place was won by the performance “Uncertainty” by Anna Olefir, a 2nd-year student majoring in Choreography.
