Vyshyvanka Day at the ER ICA

Vyshyvanka Day was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts.

On May 17, on the eve of Vyshyvanka Day, teachers and students of the ER ICA performed vocal performances at Anna Shendryk’s lecture “Born in Vyshyvanka: Ukrainian Women in the History of the 20th Century”, which was held at the Poltava Library. Anna Shendryk talked about Ukrainian women who changed the world, developed cultures, literature, and created our state.

Teachers and students also took an active part in the university competition “My Family in Vyshyvanka”.

In the “Family Traditions” nomination, the photo of Hanna Borzova, a 1st-year master’s student majoring in “Fine Art, Decorative Art, Restoration” won.

In the “Creative Team” nomination, the photo of Artur Aroian, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Fine and Decorative and Applied Arts, won. The photo shows students of the 1st, 3rd and 4th years of study majoring in Fine Art, Decorative Art, Restoration”.
