The Winter Session for Geographers

Regular session for the students-geographers was conducted in Kreminna in February.

It is worthy of note that not only full-time students but the extramural ones took part in the session as well. Session started with general meeting of students and teachers where FNS Dean Oleh Vinohradov presented the second-year student Yuliia Saienko with faculty grateful certificate for active participation in Geoerudite Club.

The days were very busy. Schedule consisted of up to five double classes a day. Students were mastering the first lectures of second semester subjects, writing complex tests, master students were undertaking assistant internship. In particular, they experienced teaching courses with bachelor students. In addition to classroom lessons, education process was in the dormitory as well. Teachers and students were on the same floor. Someone was discussing plan and content of master and course projects, someone was consulting on difficult points of lecture.

As always, week in Kreminna was exciting. Everyone was inspired by the example of those teachers and students who had come from across the line of demarcation, passed all borders and checkpoints to get to the university. Goodbye was a little sad.
