Guest lecture on the topic: “Prevention and Overcoming the Сonsequences of Burnout.”
On May 15, at the invitation of Nadiia Serhiivna Vasynova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Service and Management of Educational and Social Institutions within the educational component “Ethics in Public Administration”, a guest lecture (practical seminar) was held on the topic: “Prevention and Overcoming the Consequences of Burnout” by Master of Psychology, coordinator of the social project “Together” (https://razom.live/), the training supervisor Nataliia Antonenko.
The event was attended by master’s students majoring in 281 “Public Management and Administration”, 073 “Management” (Management of an educational institution), as well as teachers of the department, employees of the Educational and Research Institute of Public Management, Administration and Postgraduate Education.
The practical seminar consisted of several blocks, namely:
Unit 1. Diagnostics. The concept of “burnout”. How to understand if you and your colleagues have signs of burnout.
Block 2. Prevention and development of resilience (at the personal level and at the level of the organization). What to do to avoid burnout, tools to improve well-being.
Block 3. Combating burnout (at the personal level and at the organizational level). What to do if burnout has occurred.
After the lecture, a lively discussion took place, students and teachers of the Department of Public Service and Management of Educational and Social Institutions joined the active conversation. The participants of the lecture were able to raise awareness of the problems of professional burnout, receive practical recommendations and advice on combating burnout on a personal and organizational level.

Under modern conditions, it is very important to learn to manage your emotions, to overcome fear, insecurity, to be stronger in order to be able to protect your families, to be useful for the country, in particular during its reconstruction in the post-war period after our Victory! However, for the first time it is necessary to defeat ourselves!
