International Coaching Day at the ER IEB
17.5.2023
On May 16, the whole world celebrates International Coaching Day.
The initiative to introduce this event comes from a certified master coach from the USA, Jerri Udelson. The main goal of the day is to convey the special importance of this profession as a means of professional and personal development.
The Directorate of the Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Business, together with the Management Department, headed by Liudmyla Oleksiivna Zaitseva, held an online meeting with the applicants on the topic: “Coaching as a Personnel Management Tool.”
Yelyzaveta Khilevska, a 1st-year student majoring in management, made a speech. She told the audience about the definition of coaching, its main directions and ways of introducing coaching technologies into the practice of personnel management.
“In the event of any changes, both internal and external, coaching will allow the organization’s employees to adapt to these changes as quickly as possible, find ways to increase the efficiency of their activities in new conditions, find resources in themselves to meet the new conditions, and achieve maximum self-realization.”
