Successful defense of course works

On May 12, 2023, students of the 3rd year of the specialities 014 Secondary Education. Language and Literature (Spanish, English; German, English; French, English) successfully defended their course works.
The students presented their works on the following topics:
Spanish/English:
- A. Romas – “CLIL methodology: problems and prospects of implementation”
- E. Stepanovych – “Use of creative writing technologies in English lessons for the development of creative abilities of high school students”
- Husak T. – “Lexico-semantic, sociolinguistic and etymological features of English idioms”
German/ English:
- Gulimov A. – “Using the project method as an effective strategy for teaching English to middle school students”
- Nizhnichenko V. – “The use of interactive technologies for the development of reading skills in English lessons among students of grades 5-9”
- Papykyan A. – “Implementation of foreign methods in teaching English for students of grades 9-11”
French/English:
- Hrychuk P. – “Effectiveness of using creolized texts as a teaching tool in English lessons for secondary school students”

The students have demonstrated solid knowledge of the chosen topics and their own vision for solving the outlined problems. All scientific studies are distinguished by their novelty and relevance, as they touch on various aspects of the modernization of English language teaching in modern schools. Students prepared meaningful presentations for their defense, showed well-developed public speaking skills.
The works were checked for plagiarism by the program “Unicheck”. The defense took place online using Zoom, and other lecturers and students had an opportunity to join the discussion of the scientific investigations. Therefore, the defense procedure took place in compliance with academic integrity and transparency of evaluation.
