Sofia Sheredega’s victory at the Championship

On May 4-6, the Ukrainian Table Tennis Championship among juniors was held in Chernihiv.

The 1st-year bachelor’s student majoring in 017 Physical Culture and Sports, Sofia Sheredega, became the champion in singles. In the mixed category, Sofia together with Andrii Ostrovskyi (Khmelnytskyi) won bronze.

Sofia is a graduate of the KDYSS, the city of Severodonetsk, the coach is Oleksandr Minin.

Sofia said about her victory: “I am very grateful to my coaches, my support group, of course to my parents and everyone who helped me and was by my side, thank you! I am very happy! This victory shows me that patience, hard work, self-belief, and endless support pay off!”

We congratulate Sofia and her coach on a high sporting achievement!
