The Department of Preschool and Primary Education of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology conducts active scientific, methodological and career guidance work.

On May 12, 2023, the Head of the Department, Professor Svitlana Oleksandrivna Bader, took part in the All-Ukrainian webinar “Organization of Children’s Play Activities in the conditions of the implementation of BKDO: Lego technologies and techniques of mnemonics as means of cognitive development of preschool children.”

The organizer of the event is the “Geneza” Publishing House, which implements the exchange of experience among scientists and practicing educators every month. This time the webinar brought together about five hundred like-minded people from all over the country. They talked about current problems in the field of preschool education, the implementation of Lego technology in working with preschoolers, techniques of mnemonics and the mechanisms of forming value-meaning orientations of the younger generation.

During her speech, Svitlana Bader emphasized education as the leading primordial value and invited teachers to study for the master’s degree in the specialty “Preschool Education”, which is quite relevant this year and is supported by the Ministry of Education and Science.

During the meeting, representatives of the Publishing House presented methodological manuals for preschool education institutions, where Svitlana Bader is a co-author (“Fairy Paths”, “Acquaintance of Children of Middle Preschool Age with the Artistic Word”).
