Guest lecture “The relationship between the concepts of “political crisis”, “crisis of political development” and “political conflict”

On May 12, 2023, at the invitation of Anton Bader, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences, a leading researcher of the Department of Political Institutions and Processes of the Kuras Institute of Political and Ethnic Studies, Doctor of Political Sciences Tetiana Mykhailovna Liashenko gave a lecture in online mode for bachelor’s degree applicants in the specialties “Political Science”, “Sociology” and “International Relations”. The topic of the lecture “The relationship between the concepts of “political crisis”, “crisis of political development” and “political conflict” is caused by the fact that crises of political development, namely: crisis of identity, crisis of legitimacy, crisis of penetration, crisis of distribution and crisis of participation in their interaction, and as well as extremely contradictory external influences due to the specific geopolitical environment between two major power centers, actually led to the tests that the Ukrainian state is currently undergoing.

After the lecture, a lively discussion took place, teachers of the Department of Political Science and Law, the Department of Philosophy and Sociology, and the Department World History and International Relations joined the active conversation.
