World record at the World Championship by Daria Rusanenko!

A student of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports set a world record at the World Championship.

Daria Rusanenko, a student of the 1st year master’s student majoring in “017 Physical Culture and Sport” of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports, took part in the European Powerlifting Championship 2023, which was held from May 2 to 7 in Thisted, Denmark.

Daria received a gold medal for squatting – 276 kg, which equals the world record among adults!

She received a bronze award in the bench press (150 kg); and in the deadlift she took the weight of 200 kg. 

By the sum of three exercises, she became the bronze medalist of the “European Powerlifting Championship – 2023”.
