Sports life of the ER IPES

The 1st year student of the ER IPES became silver medalist of the European Powerlifting Championship.

On May 3, 2023, at the European Powerlifting Championship in Denmark, Oleksandr Luzhbin represented Luhansk Oblast, a first-year bachelor’s student majoring in “017 Physical Culture and Sports” of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports.

Among juniors in the weight category of 74 kg, he took second place with a total result of 655 kg (squat – 265 kg (1st place), bench press – 157.5 kg (93rd place), deadlift – 232.5 kg (4th place)) and fulfilled the standards for awarding the sports title “Master of Sports of Ukraine”.

Congratulations to athlete and coach Mykola Barannik, Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine. We wish you further sporting victories!
