Career orientation event

The Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Journalism actively conducts career orientation events with the aim of inviting as many school graduates as possible to LTSNU. 

So, on May 3, 2023, the educational institution “Skorohodovo Secondary School of Grades I-III of the Skorohodovo Settlement Council of the Poltava District of the Poltava Region” was visited.

The organizers of the meeting were Artem Halych – Dean of the Faculty, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor and Olga Kutsevska – Candidate of Sciences in Social Communications, Associate Professor of the Department of Journalism and Publishing.

During the meeting, future applicants were provided with all the necessary information about the faculty and specialties. Particular emphasis was placed on the peculiarities of the educational process, the specifics of admission and submission of documents in 2023, and the fact that educational services for specialties will be provided in the city of Poltava. University employees also told the pupils about the main advantages of our higher education institution, namely: the availability of budget places; the lowest price for contractors in comparison with other universities; opportunities to fully and interestingly complete practice; indicated a significant number of persons with a scientific degree and academic title, who ensure a high level of the educational process; focused on the nine-year experience of working in war conditions, etc.

The idea to advertise the faculty was fully implemented. Specialties and professions of future specialists, linguists, and journalists were presented to the pupils, as well as informational materials and booklets were provided.

The meeting was interesting and meaningful, pupils showed interest in learning, asked many questions and enjoyed communication.

The Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Journalism expresses its sincere gratitude to the director of the supporting educational institution Valentyna Udovychenko and the entire teaching staff for their cooperation.
