The Department of Public Service and Management of Educational and Social Institutions took part in the meeting within the framework of the “United by Science” project.

On April 27, 2023, teachers of the Department of Public Service and Management of Educational and Social Institutions of the Educational and Research Institute of Public Management, Administration and Postgraduate Education participated in an online meeting within the framework of the project “United by Science” from the Office of Scientist Support on the topic: “Interaction of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and scientific workers within the framework of the implementation of the legislative function by the Parliament”.

The speaker of the meeting was: Anton Morgun, Chief Consultant of the Secretariat of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Rules of Procedure, Deputy Ethics and Organization of the Work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Heads and employees of higher education institutions and scientific institutions of Ukraine joined the participation in the round table.

The meeting discussed the mechanisms of involving scientific workers of higher educational institutions in the transformation of the legislation of Ukraine, technical possibilities and online resources for the discussion of draft legislative acts, the need to make proposals to drafts and current laws by scientific and pedagogical workers as experts on certain issues, etc.
