About “Essays on the History of Luhansk Region” on “Suspilne” TV channel

Oleksandr Naboka, head of the Ukrainian History Department, spoke about “Essays on the History of Luhansk Region” on the “Suspilne” TV channel.

The leading teachers of the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences are quite frequent guests of regional and all-Ukrainian TV channels. They act as experts on various issues of Ukrainian history and the present. So, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Head of the Department of History of Taras Shevchenko National University Oleksandr Naboka took part in the evening broadcast of the popular TV channel “Suspilne”.

The topic for discussion was the recent publication of the popular scientific publication “Essays on the History of Luhansk Region”, the author of which, together with Vitalii Kurylo and Olga Zabudkova, is Oleksandr Naboka. The TV channel aired questions about entrenched and imperial myths that falsify the authentic history of the Ukrainian Luhansk region, the role of the Ukrainian population in its civilizational development on the border between medieval and modern history. The co-author also spoke about his research on the importance of foreign entrepreneurs in the process of the formation of the industrial economy of Donbas in the second half of the 19th – at the beginning of the 20th century.

It should be noted that participation in the programs of popular TV channels is an important component of the popularization of teachers’ achievements at the ER IHIRSPS.
