Guest lectures at the Design Department

During April, the Design Department hosted guest lectures.

The Associate Professor of the Design Department, Nazar Bozhynskyi, held an online lecture on the topic “The Revival of Kobzarstvo. Theory and Practice”.

The guest lecture was held within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and Kharkiv State Academy of Culture. The interesting material and the fascinating story of Nazar Bozhynskyi, Associate Professor of the Design Department, aroused genuine interest in the topic, which is understudied and insufficiently covered in the modern scientific space, among students.

The first guest lecture from the series of joint lectures organized by the Design Departments of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and Khortytsk National Educational and Rehabilitation Academy took place.

A guest lecture with elements of practical work was held by Natalia Derevianko, Associate Professor of the Design Department of the Khortytsk National Educational and Rehabilitation Academy, on the topic “Formal Composition. Principles of Composition”. During the lecture, both “classical” types of formal composition and those samples of compositions that cause discussion were discussed. Special attention was drawn to the formal features of the composition: integrity, subordination of the secondary to the main, balance, etc.
