Dialogue of Cultures in Challenging Times

The International Scientific and Practical Conference “Dialogue of Cultures in Challenging Times” was held at the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

Participants in the conference were students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Institute of Physical Education and Sports, as well as leading scientists from various institutions of higher education in Ukraine and abroad. In particular, the conference was attended by scientists, university teachers from such countries as Poland, China, Turkey, Great Britain, Peru and the United States of America.

The online form of scientific communication gave participants the opportunity to discuss such topical issues as innovative technologies in language teaching; theory and practice of teaching dialogue of cultures in a digital environment; the development of virtual communication in the context of a digitalized society; linguistic, sociocultural and intercultural problems of translation.

It is necessary to note the interactive nature of the conference, namely that the discussion of reports sometimes lasted longer than the report or presentation itself. The language of communication was mainly English.
