The All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference “Armed Violence: Modern Processes of World Globalization and Their Impact on Ukraine” was held at the Department of Political Science and Law.
On April 11, 2023, All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference “Armed Violence: Modern Processes of World Globalization and Their Impact on Ukraine” was held at the Department of Political Science and Law as part of the event “Science Days 2023”.
The meeting was held online using the Microsoft Teams platform. The conference was opened by the Director of the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences, Doctor of Political Sciences A. V. Bader, who drew attention to the new challenges and threats faced by the Ukrainian state as a result of Russian aggression.
This Conference is being held for the third time and brings together dozens of specialists engaged in researching a wide range of problems of armed violence. During the work of the conference, the participants presented their research in four sections according to the directions: “Main paradigms of the study of the phenomenon of armed violence and its components”, “Armed violence in the context of global problems of our time”, “Armed violence in Ukraine: socio-political, cultural and informational, geopolitical and psychological dimension”, “Mechanisms of minimizing and countering armed violence”.
The participants of the event noted the high level of organization and technical support of the scientific online forum and expressed their desire to continue the series of conferences on the mentioned topic next year.
