Improving the training of bachelor’s students majoring in marketing

The Department of Economics, Marketing and Entrepreneurship held an open online meeting of the Department.
The Department of Economics, Marketing and Entrepreneurship of in LTSNU in the context of the implementation of the mission and development policy developed in 2015 continues to improve the organizational, methodical and didactic support for the formation of a student-centered educational process.
On April 13, 2023, using the Google Meet service online, an open meeting of the Department was held with the invitation of students majoring in “Marketing”, the directorate of the ER IEB, stakeholders-employers and graduates.
According to the practice approved by the Department, the regulations and procedures of the internal system of providing education were sent to their e-mail boxes (and duplicated before the extended meeting of the department) regarding the development and adoption of educational programs at LTSNU, students’ choice of educational disciplines of free choice, even during the “Introduction to the profession” educational practice, the procedure for contesting the results of semester control, students’ assessment of teachers’ teaching skills, etc.
The guarantor of the bachelor’s degree program “Marketing”, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Ye. Chebotarov, taking into account the provisions, norms and procedures of the NAHEQA, presented the OP version 2022, which is submitted for accreditation by the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance of Ukraine. In addition to the awardees, stakeholder-employer A. Dugin (Poltava), graduate of LTSNU E. Dzhezhela (Poltava region), director of ER IEB V. Khmel, deputy director of the ER IEB for Educational Work O. Boiko took part in its discussion.
The students appraised the organization and conduct of the educational process favorably, and at the same time expressed specific wishes. Thus, first-year students V. Daolatzai and M. Semergei supported the proposals of external stakeholders regarding the transfer of the educational practice “Introduction to the Profession and Academic Integrity” from the second to the first semester of study. The second-year student E. Serebriakova spoke about improving the methodical provision of subjects containing tasks in English.
Taking into account the students’ wishes, as well as the feedback of Ukrainian and Polish employers and marketing graduates, each teacher received specific tasks to improve the educational process of the Department and, directly, EP “Marketing” for 2023.
