PROGRAM OF DISTANCE RESEARCH GRANTS FROM THE EU WITHOUT THE NEED TO LEAVE UKRAINE

The EURIZON Secretariat announced the launch of a new Scholarship Program: “Distance Research Grants for Ukrainian Scientists”, which is aimed at supporting Ukrainian researchers whose work was suspended due to Russian aggression.

Grants will be financed by the European Union (through the EURIZON H2020 project, grant agreement 871072) to enable Ukrainian research groups to continue scientific work remotely, carrying out research projects in cooperation with partners from European scientific organizations. The proposed projects will last from 6 or 12 months. Research groups can consist of 2 to 5 (or more) people.

Projects can be implemented remotely from anywhere in Ukraine. The EURIZON Scholarship Program will provide support in the form of research grants only to Ukrainian applicants (not to their European partners).

The selection criteria and application rules can be found on the Indico portal.

The application must be submitted by the project manager on behalf of research groups from Ukraine through the online form on the portal.
