Methodological seminar at the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine

On April 6, a methodological seminar was held at the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, the participants of which were academician, member of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Vitalii Kurylo and Rector Olena Karaman.
The methodological seminar was held within the framework of the annual meetings of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The theme of this year’s gathering was “NATIONAL PATRIOTIC EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE STATE OF WAR AND POST-WAR RECONSTRUCTION OF UKRAINE: STRATEGIES AND TASKS.”
The methodological seminar was opened by Vasyl Kremen – President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, full member (academician) of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, full member (academician) of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine.
The organizer and moderator of the seminar was Svitlana Sysoeva – academician-secretary of the Department of Philosophy of Education, General and Preschool Pedagogy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, full member (academician) of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Olena Karaman, Rector of the university, director of the Research Center for Social Pedagogy and Social Work of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (on the basis of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University), Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor made a report “National-Patriotic Personality Education as a Means of Informational and Psychological Resistance to Russian Aggression in Ukraine”.
The main idea of the speech was the thesis that the leading goal and content of national-patriotic personality education should be the formation of a national-patriotic worldview, values, meanings, attitudes and a positive and attractive image of the future of Ukraine in the progressive world community, which in the aggregate, firstly, will become stable motives for the behavior and activity of the individual for the benefit of the Ukrainian people, the Motherland, the state, the nation, readiness to protect Ukraine; secondly, as a powerful means of informational and psychological resistance to negative informational influences; thirdly, they will make Ukraine attractive for life, education and the return from migration of victims of the Russian war and many generations of Ukrainian descendants.
According to Olena Karaman, a transdisciplinary team of scientists and specialists should work on the image of the future, since this image is complex and contains various aspects – social, economic, security, military, political, environmental, informational, educational, scientific, etc.
After the meeting of the methodological seminar, Vitalii Kurylo and Olena Karaman met with Vasyl Kremen and Svitlana Sysoieva and discussed further steps of cooperation between the university and the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine.
