All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference

Recently, the All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Theoretical and Applied Aspects of the Activities of Specialists in the Socionomic Sphere in Modern Conditions” was held.

On April 4-5, 2023, on the basis of the Social Pedagogy Department of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, the All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Theoretical and Applied Aspects of the Activities of Socioeconomic Specialists in Modern Conditions” was held”. 

The purpose of the Conference was to popularize the scientific achievements of young scientists of Ukraine regarding the professional activity of specialists in the socionomic sphere in modern conditions; establishment of cooperation between students as young scientists.

More than 100 young scientists from various higher education institutions of Ukraine took part in the conference. In addition to Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University , there were students of the first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s) levels of higher education from Khmelnytskyi National University, National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Igor Sikorskyi”, Open International University of Human Development “Ukraine”, National Academy of the State Border Service of Ukraine named after Bohdan Khmelnytskyi.

The thematic directions of the conference were:

• Current issues of social and socio-pedagogical work with clients in modern conditions.
• Social, socio-pedagogical and psychological work with children, families and youth.
• Peculiarities of providing psychological assistance to individuals in difficult life circumstances.
• Actual problems of special and inclusive education.
• Patriotic education of youth as an urgent problem of our time.

Also, within the framework of the conference, a round table was held with specialists, the purpose of which was to discuss the current state of the activities of organizations in the social sphere, as well as to determine ways to improve the quality of social services in Ukraine.

According to the results of the conference, the participants received certificates, and a collection of scientific works of students “Scientific Search of Young Researchers” was prepared for publication.
