Competition of students’ scientific papers at the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology

The Department of Romance and Germanic Philology summed up the results of the first stage of the All-Ukrainian competition of students’ scientific papers, which is held to prepare applicants for higher education for research activities in the context of their professional training.

This form of work orients prospective specialists and encourages them to take into account individual skills and personal needs for self-realization within the professional trajectory.

The jury of the university stage of the competition consisting of the chairman – Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology Tatiana Koknova and Candidates of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professors Olha Yunina and Lyudmila Shapovalova noted the innovative approaches of applicants for higher education of the first (Bachelor’s) level to solve current philological and methodological problems, their creative vision of ways to develop modern science and practice.

According to the results, the winners were determined: I place – Alina Romos, a third – year student (014 Secondary Education (Language and Literature (Spanish, English); II place – Ekaterina Grechishkina, a fourth-year student (Language and Literature (Spanish, English); III place – Maria Liseenko, a third-year student (Language and Literature (German, English).
