Olympiad in Pedagogy

The results of the traditional student Olympiad in Pedagogy were summed up at the Pedagogy Department.

The first stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Pedagogy, which this year was held at our university in a remote format, brought together bachelor’s students from almost all educational and scientific institutes and faculties. The participants of the event were the second-third year students of educational programs in the field of knowledge 01. Education/Pedagogy. They were offered complex tasks differentiated by year of study, which included two blocks:

• theoretical: students solved tests consisting of questions on the history of pedagogy, general pedagogy, theory of learning and education, modern learning technologies and organization of pedagogical research;
• practical: students performed research and creative tasks, in particular, demonstrated analytical-research development in the form of an essay “Innovative professional roles and tasks of a modern teacher in the context of the New Ukrainian School” and solved practical pedagogical tasks.

The winners of the university round of the Pedagogy Olympiad were determined: 1st place – Yevhen Kuryachyi, a 2nd-year student majoring in “Secondary education. Mathematics”, ER IPMIT; 2nd place – Violetta Nechypurenko, a 2nd year student majoring in “Secondary Education. Biology”, FNS, 3rd place – Rostislav Sydorenko, a 2nd year student majoring in “Professional Education. Transport”, ER ICSTT.
