STOP Discrimination!

Students of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology participated in the creation of social advertising on the topic: “STOP Discrimination!”

In the 21st century, human rights have become an undeniable value of society. One of the key democratic principles is the priority of individual freedom and human rights. However, despite the international system of protection against discrimination, human rights are violated everywhere. The subject of prevention and counteraction of discrimination in Ukraine has recently attracted considerable attention of specialists from various fields, and the social one is no exception.

As part of the anti-discrimination and racism week, students majoring in 231 “Social Work” of the educational program “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology” of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology participated in the creation of social advertising on the topic: “STOP discrimination!”.

As students note, it is important to be aware and critical of all manifestations of discrimination and oppression of the human right to equality, recognition and personal integrity. Formation of the understanding of equality as a value in society and awareness of the role of everyone in its affirmation is the most important vector in the strategic fight against discrimination.
