Poetry Day celebration

Teachers and students of the Institute of Culture and Arts celebrated Poetry Day with the poetry of Lina Kostenko.

On Poetry Day, teachers and students of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts (students majoring in “Graphic Design” and “Secondary Education. Musical Art”) visited the section of reading rooms of the Oles Honchar Poltava Regional Library for Youth. They visited the poetic watercolor “Lina Kostenko. The soul of millennia is looking for itself in the word.” Poems and songs to the words of a famous poetess, which were played at the event, turned communication into an artistic celebration.

Those present watched fragments of Lina Vasylivna’s lectures and interviews, in which she reveals her views on Ukraine and the world. The real deep talent, poetic sincerity and spiritual wealth of Mrs. Lina became the property of Ukrainian literature.

With all her creativity, cultural and social activities, the great poetess calls people to be more sensitive and attentive to each other as well as to their native language and country.
