Free online course within the International Grant

Within the cooperation between Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the U.S. Civilian Research and Development Foundation, everyone gets a unique opportunity to take the distance course “Basic Security Rules in the Digital Environment”.
On this occasion, on March 23, 2023, the director of the Educational and Research Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies, Hennadii Mohylnyi, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, held a consultation meeting with students of the Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Business.
He said that within the framework of the signed grant agreement G-202301-69860 between Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the U.S. Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF Global), everyone is given the opportunity to take a free online course on cyber hygiene.
The course is designed specifically for students and all those whose everyday life is not complete without computers, smartphones and tablets. This course helps students learn about the main threats in the digital environment, understand what personal information hackers are after, and remember tips for protecting personal data, money, safe use of electronic gadgets and information resources.
The main goal of the course is to increase students’ awareness of basic safety rules in the digital environment.
Hennadii Mohylnyi provided detailed instructions on the issue of registration for the course and the importance of completing it.
