Adviser Hour “Educational Potential of Fairy Tales”

The Adviser Hour “Educational Potential of Fairy Tales” was held for students majoring in “Preschool Education”, “Elementary Education”, “Elementary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature”. 

The Department of Preschool and Primary Education of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology is always actively involved in social and humanitarian work. And adviser hours continue to be an indispensable component of educational activities. Especially since March 20 is one of the most magical and truly magical holidays – World Fairy Tale Day!

On this occasion, on the initiative of the senior teacher of the Department of Preschool and Primary Education, Ph.D. Iryna Hrechyshkina, an event was held with the students majoring in “Preschool Education”, “Primary Education”, “Primary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature” on the topic: “Educational Potential of Fairy Tales”.

At the beginning of the event, the Deputy Director for Social and Humanitarian Work Vira Fedorivna and the Head of the Department of Preschool and Primary Education Svitlana Oleksandrivna welcomed the participants. 

During the event, the problems of the origin of fairy tales, the psychological and pedagogical significance of the fairy tale, the functional features of the fairy tale, and methodical recommendations for the use of the fairy tale in the educational process of kindergartens and primary schools were discussed.

At the end of the event, 4th year student Yuliia Gorokh read the author’s fairy tale “The Legend of Berehynia”.
