Results of Olympiads and Competitions

The Department of Landscape Gardening and Ecology summarizes the results of Olympiads and competitions in ecology, horticulture and forestry.

At the beginning of March, the Department of Landscape Gardening and Ecology held the I (selection) stage of the All-Ukrainian competition for student scientific works and student Olympiads in the specialties “Ecology”, “Horticulture” and “Forestry” with the use of remote technologies.

The bachelor’s and master’s students took part in the competitions – 19 participants, of which 13 winners were determined.

The winners of the 1st stage of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers were:

• Kyrylo Kalashnyk, 1st place, specialty “Ecology”;
• Yevgen Merchuk, 2nd place, specialty “Ecology”;
• Natalia Ostroborodova, 3rd place, specialty “Ecology”;
• Artur Jalavyan, 1st place, specialty “Forestry”;
• Andrii Koverha, 1st place, specialty “Horticulture”.

The winners of the 1st stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad were:

• Yulia Starikova, 1st place, specialty “Horticulture”;
• Ihor Starikov, 1st place, specialty “Horticulture”;
• Yulia Kuleshova, 2nd place, specialty “Horticulture”;
• Vadym Kapralov, 3rd place, specialty “Horticulture”;
• Artur Jalavyan, 1st place, specialty “Forestry”;
• Karyna Fomenko, 2nd place, specialty “Forestry”;
• Dmytro Firsov, 3rd place, specialty “Forestry”;
• Anastasia Hatman, 3rd place, specialty “Ecology”.
