Recently, an open lecture was held by the Doctor of Political Sciences, Acting Head of the Department of World History and International Relations.O. B. Balatska. 

An open lecture on “Political violence as a challenge to the modern world order” for students majoring in “International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies”. The lecture was attended by the head of the Academic Council of the University Vitalii Kurylo, the Academic Secretary of the Academic Council N. M. Karlova, the head of the Department of Quality Management of Educational Activity M. V. Kravchenko, the management of the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences, teachers of the Department of World History and International Relations and students. 

The issues discussed during the event aroused lively discussion and interest of the audience. In particular, the dynamics and trends of the spread of armed violence in the world were analyzed, the causes and consequences of these destructive processes were determined, and attention was paid to options for scientific reflection of the specified problem.
