Guest lecture for students of the ER ICSTT

On March 15, the ER ICSTT hosted a guest lecture with the director of the Educational and Research Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies Hennadii Mohylnyi.

Thus, students learned about a unique opportunity to take a free e-learning course on cyber hygiene “Basic Rules of Safety in the Digital Environment” (registration for the course https://cybereducation.org/mc/index.php/usr/login/registration) within the grant agreement G-202301-69860 “Promotion of the Cyber Hygiene E-Learning Course” between Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the U.S. Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF Global).

Having mastered the course “Basic Rules of Security in the Digital Environment”, students will learn about the main threats in the digital environment, understand how to prevent cyber fraud, and the provided tips are guaranteed to help protect personal data, money and safely use electronic gadgets and information resources.

During the meeting, the speaker noted that the main goal of the course is to raise the level of students’ awareness of the basic rules of security in the digital environment, because knowledge of the basics of cyber security and cyber hygiene in modern conditions is relevant for all participants of the educational process, especially in the conditions of martial law.
