The athlete won a bronze award

The athlete of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University won the bronze award at the European Wrestling Championship.

On March 13, the European Championship in Greco-Roman, freestyle and women’s wrestling among male and female athletes under the age of 23 started in Bucharest (Romania).

The second day of performances by Ukrainian athletes was successful. Thus, the wrestlers of the Greco-Roman style distinguished themselves: in the weight category up to 130 kg, Mykola Vishnevskyi won the gold medal, and in the weight category up to 77 kg, Mykyta Politaiev, a fourth-year student of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports, specialty “Physical Culture and Sport”, won the bronze award.
