Exhibition of women artists

A traditional exhibition of women artists dedicated to the International Women’s Day was held in the city of Poltava.

On March 9, the opening of the exhibition of women artists “Spring to be!” with the support of the Poltava Regional Organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. The exhibition was timed to the International Women’s Day.

The exhibition featured the works of Inna Hurzhii, a senior teacher of the Department of Fine and Decorative Arts, a ceramist, and a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Three of her works were presented at the exhibition: “Noble Cloth” and plates “Honey August” and “There will be morning after the night.”

Yevgenia Myrko, Kateryna Vlasova and Maryna Chornogorets, graduates of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts majoring in “Fine Art, Decorative Art, Restoration” also took part in the exhibition.

Students majoring in “Musical Art” and “Secondary Education. Musical Art”, Tetiana Molderf’s class – Yaroslav Tsiulin, Karina Varfolomieva and Bohdan Kirpa, were invited to the opening of the exhibition. The concertmaster was Anna Yezerska.

And we should not forget that International Women’s Day is not about tenderness and femininity, it is about women’s struggle for their rights.
