Presentation of the scientific-methodical almanac

On March 10, the presentation of the joint scientific-methodical almanac “We Care a Personality” took place at the Lubny City Council.

The Almanac was developed and prepared within the framework of the EU Project “Intensification of Influence of Teachers of the Luhansk Region on the Processes of Reconciliation and Peace-Building”.

The event was attended by the Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University Olena KARAMAN, Head of the Primary Trade Union Organization Volodymyr MOROZ, other representatives and employees of the university, leaders and employees of the Lubny community led by the Head of the City Council Oleksandr HRYTSAYENKO, heads of the educational institutions and teaching staff, head of the Administration of Education Myroslav KOSTENKO, Director of the Kharkiv Regional Center for Evaluation of the Quality of Education, Professor Oleksandr SIDORENKO and representatives of mass media.

The presentation of the fifth edition of the Almanac was solemnly opened with the declaration of a poem by Taras Shevchenko, which was read by the winner of the “Tarasovymy shliahamy” competition, Sofya KYYAN.

After a talented speech, the head of the Education Department, Myroslav KOSTENKO, took the floor, who thanked everyone for their cooperation in creating a methodological and scientific collection – the fifth edition of the Almanac, dedicated to summarizing the innovative pedagogical experience of educational workers of educational institutions of the Lubny Territorial Community of the Lubny District of the Poltava Region. He personally thanked Vitalii Semenovych KURYLO – Chairman of the Academic Council of LTSNU, Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and Editor-in-Chief of the Almanac for his support in the joint project and invited the university rector Olena KARAMAN and Oleksandr HRYTSAIENKO – Head of the City Council. 

The first to take the floor was Olena Leonidivna, who began her speech with warm words that it is extremely pleasant to start the spring with positive events: the celebration of the 102nd anniversary of the university, commemoration of the university symbol, Taras Hryhorovych, on the occasion of the 209th anniversary of his birthday and now the presentation of the fifth issue of the scientific-methodical almanac “We Care a Personality”. She noted the high level of pedagogical attitude of teachers in raising creative students, whom we observed at events and who read poems at a high level, with soul, with faith, with pride, and this is only the merit of teachers who were able to sculpt such talent in children.

She briefly spoke about the Almanac itself, which was founded by Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, namely Vitalii KURYLO, and which is intended for scientific and pedagogical workers, postgraduate students, doctoral students, the public, all those who are interested in innovations in the field of education.

In the edition, the experience of educators of the Lubny region is presented within the main directions of educational activity and reflects the content and technologies of educational work in educational institutions, current problems of preschool and primary education, trends in the development of science, mathematics and technological branches of education, psychological and inclusive principles of the educational process, experience and perspectives social and humanitarian work in educational institutions, managerial aspects of educational activity.

Olena KARAMAN spoke about the content of the Almanac itself and emphasized that it must be available electronically. At the end, she called for further cooperation and congratulated everyone on spring.

Then the Head of the City Council Oleksandr HRYTSAIENKO took the floor. In his speech, he noted that until now there were monuments to Shevchenko in the community, streets were named after him, but there had never been an institution with the name of the great genius until now.

We quote his words: “Now we have our university, on our territory, which educates our children and helps our teachers.”

He spoke briefly about the scientific-methodical almanac “We Care a Personality”, about the topics of the collection, about the fact that he was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the new surnames in it when he got acquainted with the publication. I wished to continue to gain common experience, which was shared by 42 teachers.

After that, the presentation of the Almanac to the teachers who participated in its creation began.

During the presentation, the headmaster of the Zasul Lyceum, Larisa DERKACH, thanked all the teachers who took part in the development of the collection, its articles, topics and emphasized that the Almanac should exist and should have been published.

After her, the director of the Lubny Specialized School No. 6, Larisa DERKACH, who participated in the creation of this project and which became her first such experience, spoke. She sincerely thanked the university and Olena KARAMAN personally and noted that with the appearance of the Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, the number of educational opportunities has increased for everyone, and even students of LTSNU are already doing internships at their school.

The Executive Committee of the Lubny City Council thanked Olena KARAMAN, Volodymyr MOROZ, Vitalii KURYLO for fruitful cooperation, comprehensive support of teaching staff and significant contribution to the development of the educational sector of the Lubny Territorial Community.

With beautiful songs and music, the quartet “Gilea” of the Mykhniv village club, consisting of Anatolii and Larisa Suprun, and Vitalii and Svitlana Soliar, congratulated all those present on the significant event.

The Professor Oleksandr SIDORENKO was surprised by the joint work on the Almanac, which is a good prerequisite for creating the integrity of education. He thanked for the involvement and combination of a large number of teachers from the Lubny region, whom he wished to become professors, doctors and academicians.

He briefly focused on the aspects of external assessment that need to be worked out, focused on the new format of testing, which will be much more objective and complex in order to expand students’ worldview, their intelligence and improve their knowledge. He called on teachers to give society one hundred percent educated specialists!
